Welcome

Welcome to the Carden School of Santa Cruz

Welcome to the Carden School of Santa Cruz.  We are glad that you are taking the time to learn about our school.

We encourage you to call us to set up an appointment to visit our campus, our classrooms, and our talented team of teachers.

The Carden School of Santa Cruz is home to students from Junior kindergarten through the fifth grade. Students from Boulder Creek to Scotts Valley and Watsonville attend our Carden School.  Our class ratio is 8:1, giving our students the opportunity to learn and grow in an intimate environment under the guidance of dedicated and loving teachers.

At the Carden School of Santa Cruz, we take pride in our exceptional academic program, our dedication to character development, and our focus on teaching the whole child, mind, body and spirit.  Carden students know that we care.  We spend time getting to know our students, helping them up when they fall, and challenging them to work to their potential.

The Carden curriculum and teaching method, having stood the test of time for over 50 years, are the foundation for our success.  Imbued with the values of courtesy, generosity, and self-discipline, the Carden curriculum emphasizes the importance of building a mental image in all the disciplines, math, literature, spelling, art and science.

The students learn to think critically, to solve puzzles, and to express their ideas articulately and with confidence in the Carden classroom.  They learn to think and they learn to work to their ability.

And as a result, they experience success and confidence.

Thank you for visiting our website.  We look forward to hearing from you soon.
